I worked to help as many as I could and was on a committee with numerous helthcare professionals to get them counseling before, during and after pregnancy. I promoted education and assisted with helping them through the maze. When I saw the new healthcare bill I feared the same fears that you have. Thank-you for your incredible courage and wisdom. Thank-you so very much for your letter. You have my full support and prayers. I am retired law enforcement, Imperial County Sheriff’s office in California. My wife and I live in Greensboro, NC now.

My wife and I are White, but we live in a neighborhood which is about 80 percent Black. We were very dear friends with everyone, UNTIL the last Presidential Election. Our Black neighbors, for the most part, became very UNFRIENDLY. It’s so sad.

Fortunally, the children still come over to our home and we treat them all just like family members, which they truly are - the Family of God.
